Activision Expects Significantly Lower Earnings

Midway Shuts Down Australian Development Studio Ratbag

Is it just me or is there something wrong with Midway these days. After it closed down Stainless Steel only a few weeks ago, it seems they have shut down yet another, recently acquired, development studio. Midway Australia, formerly know as Ratbag, was bought by Midway earlier this year, and rumors has it that it has closed down. What is to come of the several titles that were in development is not know at this point and Midway has not yet replied to our inquiries.

Activision Replies To 'Call of Duty 2' Community Boycott

A couple weeks back members of the official Infinity War forum threatened with a 24 hour server boycott, taking down their multiplayer servers, due to the lack of support and communication from Activision and IW, especially anti-cheat/punkbuster integration, etc. Activision finally replied : "After 2 years of non-stop work on Call of Duty 2, Infinity Ward has just returned from a much-deserved break. The team is aware of some concerns about multiplayer cheating in the game and is looking into an anti-cheat solution." Not a lot to go on, and it only addresses one of the grievances ..
