While EA hasn't outright cancelled any titles EA Sports head honcho Peter Moore revealed in
a recent interview that it currently has no NASCAR titles in development and that there are no plans to do so in the immediate future. Moore was quoted saying that EA redeployed some of the people working on previous NASCAR titles, who moved over to work on EA Sports MMA.

Earlier this week, we reported that Capcom might possibly be working on a new installment in the Okami series, and barely a few days later, this rumor seems partly true. Only announced for release in Japan (scheduled for 2010) Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyou, loosely translated as Okami Legend: The Small Sun, follows the same art style as the PS2 and Wii titles, and while it plays off in similar environments it is an all-new adventure set several months after the conclusion of the original where you follow a new, younger character. Obviously, gameplay is similar to the previous Okami titles with the DS stylus being used to draw your magical symbols.

Take-Two's Q3 2009 financials show a net revenue of $138.6 million, compared to $433.8 million in 2008, and a $55.5 million net loss vs. a $51.8 million net income last year. More importantly in the follow-up conference call Take-Two CEO Ben Feder noted that Bioshock 2, Mafia II, Max Payne 3, Red Dead Redemption are all scheduled for anywhere between Jan. 31 and July 2010.
