ArmA II is set in the near future, year 2009, in a fictional post soviet country called Chernarus. Players will be sent as members of a US Marine Corps Force Recon squad to this country to prevent further civilian casualties and ensure ongoing stability there. Bohemia revealed that a 2GB demo is expected next week (Mon. or Tues.) but not further details were provided.

An ad on the Steam service
reveals that Bethesda is expanding its Steam offerings beyond Fallout 3, as not only Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth, but also The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and its sequel The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will soon be downloadable, both in their respective Game of the Year Editions. While no specific release date was revealed, they will be on offer at a 20% discount upon its debut.
