'Killzone 2' (PS3) Lead Level Designer Joins Splash Damage

Splash Damage announced that it has recruited Killzone 2 Lead Level Designer Neil Alphonso, who will now be in charge of its team of Level Designers and will direct their efforts for our new (and still unannounced) title with Bethesda Softworks. Earlier Splash also snagged Lionhead's lead designer on Fable II Richard Ham for the same project.

Pandemic Studios' Saboteur will feature an open-ended world. Mixing regular first-person action with stealth, you, as a member of the French La Resistance, have to free Nazi-controlled zones. Reminiscent of Schindler's List, these zones will be displayed in black and white, but once successfully liberated, become colorized.

Take-Two Financials Reveal Losses, 'GTA IV' Sales Numbers, DLC Window

Net revenue for Q1 was $256.8 million, compared to last year's $240.4 million, driven by Grand Theft Auto IV, Carnival Games, NBA 2K9 and Midnight Club: Los Angeles. Net loss, however, rose from last year's $38 million to $50.4 million, due to higher marketing, legal, and research and development expenses. So far, GTA IV has sold 13 million units, while the next installment in the X360-exclusive DLC is expected before Oct. 31, 2009.
