Nintendo Unveils New Classic Wii Controller

While the Wii has most of its success because of the motion controlled Wiimote, the Wii also comes with a classic controller for the retro fans. Nintendo updated its Wii website revealing the Classic Controller PRO, which will sport additional shoulder buttons and hand grips compared to the old version, but will still require the good old wire to connect to the Wii. No price was revealed and so far it is only scheduled for release in Japan, somewhere this summer.

Project Origin continues F.E.A.R.'s supernatural suspense story of an escalating paranormal crisis that threatens to destroy a major American city. Alma now has free reign, and the consequences will be unimaginable. Monolith is currently working on a patch that will modify the game difficulty to make the "hard" setting more challenging, adding the option to toggle film grain and head bob, and several other small fixes.

SEGA's Aliens RPG Canceled After All ?

Last year, SEGA announced that it had several Aliens projects in the works: an FPS by Gearbox and an RPG by former Black Isle Studios devs, Obsidian. A few weeks ago, SEGA announced it has tasked UK-based Rebellion to make a new installment in the Aliens vs. Predator series, while at the same time revealing its "other" Aliens titles would be delayed. Ever since, rumors have been going around that both titles were canceled. Adding fuel to the fire is a resume of former Obsidian designer David Kondor, stating he worked on a "canceled third-person action Aliens RPG." When asked, SEGA declined to comment...
