According to the latest EGM issue Rockstar Toronto, know for The Warriors, is working on a new installment in the Max Payne series. While there is no official announcement May Payne 3 wouldn't come as much of a surprise considering there is a movie coming out, starring Mark Wahlberg, later this year. May Payne was originally released in 2001, and a sequel in 2003 already teased there would be a 3rd part, but apparently not by Remedy who is still working on Alan Wake.

Gothic 4 is set 10 years after the last installment and situated on multiple southern islands, each with unique fauna & flora according to various climate zones. The game will feature a day & night cycle, changing weather, and depending on the time of day altering spell casting abilities.
