Renegade Kid has issued an update saying that the official name for the title was Son Of The Dragon, but that development has been halted in favor of another new project, but that it hopes to revisit the canned title in the future.

Halo Wars is a strategy game based on the Halo universe where players will command armies of familiar and new UNSC units in its initial encounters against the Covenant, an alien coalition threatening to obliterate mankind. Released last week (Feb. 5), the Halo Wars demo on Xbox Live has smashed previous records by being downloaded 2 million times in one week.

When Microsoft dropped the bomb that it would be shutting down Ensemble Studios, its co-founder Tony Goodman revealed he would be setting up a new studio, and bring along several of his colleagues. Age of Empires creator Bruce Shelley, co-founder of ES, said he would not be joining the new outfit but believes the "spirit and mission will be carried forward in this new company." Robot Entertainment are currently not hiring, nor are there any details know on any of their projects.

World in Conflict: Complete Edition, the retail version of the much awaited add-on to the critically acclaimed strategy game will include the entire original World in Conflict title, as well as the Soviet Assault add-on and other exciting all-new features.
