Actor Dan Aykroyd Confirms 'Ghostbusters' Game

During a Blues Brothers concert in Edmonton, Canada, Dan Aykroyd confirmed the existence of the Ghostbusters game, which he reveals has now been picked up by Universal, after it purchased the rights from Sony. Retiring from his 30 year acting career, now a registered Canadian importer and distributor for Patron tequila, he will once again become Ghostbusters' Dr. Raymond Stantz, and is said to go into the motion capture studio for the game development somewhere "next year."

EA's Q3 Financial Results Reveals New Titles

EA today announced its Q3 financial results ending Dec. 31, 2006. Net revenue for the 3rd quarter was $1.28 billion, up a mere 1% compared to last year's $1.27 billion, driven by Madden, but curtailed by higher next-gen development costs and acquisitions. In the conf call afterwards, EA revealed Spore and My Sims are coming to the NDS (in addition to the PC and Wii versions, respectively), and that White council is "on hold," not cancelled.
