'Painkiller' - Multiplayer Demo Coming

Dreamcatcher has announced that the anticipated Painkiller multiplayer demo will be released May 3rd and the demo will allow players to blow each other to bits in two modes: the self-explanatory Deathmatch and Voosh, a Deathmatch variation where players are given random weapons--but unlimited ammo--for a limited time. It will also feature two maps: DM-Sacred and DM-Cursed and will include all the updates and optimizations from the upcoming 1.1 patch (thanks Gamespot ). The Painkiller 1.1 patch will support the new NVIDIA 6800 cards with Pixel Shader 3.0 effects as well as improve the netcode, but has been delayed a few days as it seems (was expected today).
