Strategy First and Paradox Entertainment have returned from E3, the largest entertainment expo of the year to announce that their highly anticipated strategy game, LEGION, has shipped and will be available in stores nationwide later this week.

Today Shrapnel Games announced that their latest product, Austerlitz: Napoleon's Greatest Battle, has Gone Gold. The first game of The Greatest Battles Series should begin shipping June 28th.

DreamCatcher, a fast-growing publisher of PC and console software entertainment, today announced that Gore, an action-packed PC game developed by 4D Rulers, is now shipping. Looking for the ultimate blast fest? You've found it with Gore. This 3D first-person shooter lives up to its name with its frenzied, hard-core action and blood-thirsty, smart, AI.

Player of Games tossed up a statement from Project Three Interactive and lead programmer Jim Malmros about the beta release of New World Order. Malmros: "We are aware there have been problems with the beta. Don't despair though, there are 5 main issues that cause 90% of the problems and we're all over them.

Blizzard has teamed up with one of the largest names in fantasy art to bring the dark and gothic world of Diablo to life. In “Final Stand”, Keith Parkinson has meticulously depicted five mortal heroes in a desperate struggle against the Lord of Terror, Diablo. This image has been carefully reproduced in a limited quantity, with each high-quality print signed and numbered by Parkinson. These prints are printed on 100 lb. cover stock with a paper size of 24" x 34". Take me there!

Shadowbane Portal's Seira and Bubba released a very high quality E3 video journal which they compiled by filming several demos live from the booth's floor. The first portion of the journal takes place with Ashen Temper, who demonstrates swimming under water, performs some very cool spell effects, and even a takes a quick tour around the burning City of Nightbridge. It is during this portion of the video that you can start to visualize the gravity of a siege, and the amount of impact it will have on various factions and players communities. All the equipment available to TR6 exists in some form. Wheter or not it is available on a weapon platform or stand-a-lone is a game decision.

Last week, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, the Army unveiled "America's Army," a new game series that's meant to serve as a marketing and recruiting tool for the gaming generation. Recognizing that the target audience knows a quality title when it sees one (and ignores and ridicules poor quality efforts), the Army has assembled a team of proven developers and licensed one of the premier engines on the market to make its games. Quality doesn't come cheap, though. The budget for "America's Army" is in the $7 million range. (thanks Blues).

CDV Software Entertainment AG, one of the leading German publishers and distributors of gaming software, today announced three upcoming titles for the Xbox videogame system from Microsoft. In a continuing effort to diversify consumer offerings, CDV is planning to release "CORE," "Project Nomads," and "Vultures" in 2003.

MX Superfly features 22 authentic tracks "set in locals such as Loretta Lynn’s, the Outdoor Nationals, the Free Ride Moto-X Championships and the THQ US Open", gameplay modes in 125cc, freestyle and 250cc, 26 professional riders and Create-A-Rider features. Vulcan Software let us know that episode five of the Valhalla Classics is finished! It's called the 'Servants Hall' and is the first episode set in the period known as Before The War. This time you play the evil (and grumpy) character called 'The Lord Of Infinity', he can be described as a blend of Clint Eastwood and Marvin 'The Paranoid Android' (from 'Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy')... but as with the little prince (from episodes 1 to 4). The official site for Morrowind now offers two new plugins for Morrowind. The first one is called Area Effect Arrows, and features Aradraen the fletcher and her specialty arrows. The second plugin, Bitter Coast Sounds, adds sound effects and dragonfly creatures to the game.
