Announced earlier this year, DOFUS is a Tactical MMORPG which means players evolve in a real time universe, but when they fight against monsters or against other players, action is turn-based, with specific number of actions each turn. ANKAMA Studio announced today that DOFUS will launch September 1, 2005.

dtp will publish the WWII Stealth Shooter Sabotage. Developed by the German team Replay Studios, Sabotage features Résistance fighter and MI6 agent Violette Summer (based on the real historic Violette Szabo), who has to infiltrate German military camps in France, Poland and Germany during the war and sabotate them, kill high Nazi officers, rescue civilian hostages or solve other missions. The game will be out in the German speaking countries in fall 2006.

Playlogic Entertainment announced the acquisition of Age of Pirates, a highly anticipated role-playing game from Russian developer Akella, which also created the successful pirate titles "Sea Dogs," Age of Sail 2," and "Pirates of the Caribbean."

At its annual BBQ Konami confirmed that its action rpg Ys: The Ark of Napishtim PSP port has been delayed and is being pushed back from its original November 2005 date to spring 2006. In his greatest adventure to date, Adol explores a series of islands hidden in the great vortex of Canaan where he battles with three magical swords imbued with elemental powers to gain special abilities, powerful combos, and deadly attacks. The reason for the delay was to give the development team more time to make the best possible game and not just a straight PS2 port.
