Steam Beta 2.0 begins today at 3 pm Pacific. The beta is open to the public, anyone can join by downloading and running the 4MB install applet. For the first few days, this beta will include the coming versions of Counter-Strike (v1.6) and Team Fortress Classic. Koch Media Signs 'WWII: Frontline Command'

Bitmap Brothers' upcoming RTS title WWII: Frontline Command has found a new publisher. The game was originally scheduled to be published by Codemasters, but last year, they suddenly dropped the product without a specific reason. WWII: Frontline Command will now be published in Europe by Koch Media this May. No North American date (or publisher) has yet been assigned.

'Silent Hill 3' Bundled With Original Music Soundtrack

Konami of America, Inc. announced that Silent Hill 3, the highly-anticipated new release in the blockbuster horror series, will ship with a 70-minute music soundtrack. Composed, performed and edited by the game's producer, Akira Yamaoka at Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo, the soundtrack features the game's distinctive musical score as well as four exclusive vocal tracks.
