THQ announced that it has extended its exclusive, worldwide agreement with Zuffa, LLC to publish videogames based on the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) brand through 2018.

THQ announced its plans for talented game developer Patrice Désilets, previously creative director on the Assassin's Creed franchise, as well as Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, to join the company next summer to form a new THQ owned development studio housed within its video game development studio in Montreal, Quebec.
