'Forza Motorsport 4' (X360) Unveiled - Trailer

Similar to most of the other 2010 Video Game Awards unveilings, details on Forza Motorsport 4 are as good as nonexistant, but nonetheless Turn10 has announced that it is working on the next installment in its racing franchise, scheduled for release in Fall 2010, possibly with Kinect compatibility and head tracking.

The 2010 VGAs had quite a few interesting announcements being made: Forza 4, Insane, Protoype 2, SSX: Deadly Descents and TES V. Very cool. Some of it's quite a few years out, but at least it gives us something to look forward to. Wonder what happened with the promised Gears Of War announcement. It was canceled at the last minute by Microsoft, so that must not have made CliffyB happy since he wasn't able to steal the show and all.

We got most of our chores done, and there are a few more to do tomorrow, but we also need to attend our first Christmas gathering and make some cupcakes in preparation. Should be fun.

We watched Bones, Burn Notice, Hell's Kitchen, Psych, and for tomorrow we have a few more things on the DVR, Get Him to the Greek or The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

'Prototype 2' (ALL) Unveiled

Details are still slim but Activision is once again teaming up with Radical to develop a sequel to 2009's action game Prototype. While in the original you played as Alex Mercer, the tables will be turned in the sequel as you will control Sergeant James Heller with the sole mission of finishing off the protagonist of the first title by becoming a a mutated monster yourself.

At the 2010 Video Game Awards Bethesda announced that it is working on the next installment in The Elder Scrolls series. While we'll most likely have to wait for the official announcement to get more details, Bethesda did already pin down a release date, Skyrim will be here on 11.11.11.

'Highlander: The Game' (ALL) Canceled

Highlander is a third person action adventure set in the Highlander universe – control an Immortal embroiled in a battle against rival Immortals in an adventure spanning over 2000 years. Announced in 2004, but last heard of in 2008, Square Enix inherited the game when it acquired Eidos, and has decided to cancel the Unreal Engine 3 powered action/adventure game.
