The story of Valkyria Chronicles II takes place two years after the conclusion of the original game. Originally licensed by Majesco but sold off to 2K Games, The Darkness is based on Top Cow's comic book series, and while a sequel to the 2007 action game has been mentioned by various Top Cow executives on several occasions, it seems original developer Starbreeze Studios is currently not involved with the follow-up, according to Starbreeze CEO Johan Kristiansson, as they are currently already working on two unannounced projects for EA.

Nucleosys was a two-man Argentinian studio known for making atmospheric mystery adventure games such as Scratches. It was working on Risk Profile: Federal Cases, an educational adventure game, which took much longer than expected to finish and has so far only been released in its home country. Its founder Agustin Cordes revealed that Nucleosys will be shutting down shortly, with both developers going their separate ways.

Playing as the anti-hero, rage through the wrath of fearless enemies and build the nastiest and most profane army you can think of in this new-style invasion action game. Prepare to wash the mouth of your army with soap as they can’t help but engage in zombie bashing dialogue over a raging metal soundtrack that helps you channel your inner anger.

In the wake of the Warner Bros./Midway acquisition, the Mortal Kombat studio, also known as Midway Chicago, will henceforth be known as WB Games Chicago, according to several of its employees' social networking statuses. Ed Boon revealed a while back that the studio is working on the next installment in the MK franchise, going back to its roots, with "sick" fatalities.
