SCi Losses Mount, Contemplates Name Change to Eidos

Eidos parent company SCi released its 2007 financial results revealing a £99.1 million loss compared to £13.3 million the year prior. SCi CEO Phil Rogers attributes the increased loss to the restructuring it started last year, cutting various studios and titles, but says the results of that should start showing this fiscal year. Rogers also announced that at the upcoming Dec. 2 shareholder meeting a name change proposal will be presented, as apparently it thinks Eidos is a strong product brand name.
