StarCraft II will feature the return of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg races, overhauled and re-imagined with Blizzard's approach to game balance, designed to be the ultimate competitive RTS game. Online retailers GameStop, Best Buy and Circuit City, all have StarCraft II listed for release on Dec. 3, 2008. While online retailers often have placeholder dates, the fact that three of them pegged the same date a week before Blizzard's 2008 Worldwide Invitational is quite a big coincidence (thanks Jeremy).
