Citing piracy reasons, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli is the latest developer head crying wolf that PC gaming is being brought down by illegal downloads. In an interview with PC Play, Cevat states that the Crysis developer has been seriously hurt by piracy, and PC gamers that pirate games inherently destroy the platform. As a result Crytek will no longer develop PC exclusive titles, which was most likely the case either way now that its CryEngine is being ported to PS3 and Xbox 360.

Rockstar's open-ended crime series has arrived on the next-gen consoles with Grand Theft Auto IV, returning the franchise to New York situated around the mysterious protagonist Nikolai. Previous installments made it to the PC, but since Rockstar started using its new engine, none of their games were ported. However, Swiss online retailer Citydisc has a product section up for the PC version, scheduled for release Nov. 2008. Wishful thinking, or the first indication that Rockstar is working on it?
