SOE announced that Pirates of the South China Seas, the 4th expansion for the Pirates Constructible Strategy Game Online, is currently in development at the its Denver studio. South China Seas brings an Asian flair to this online 3D world of pirates, high seas combat and the search for treasure.

Distant Guns: The Russo-Japanese War at Sea delivers all the action you would expect from a top notch 3D simulation combined with all the detail you would expect from a serious historical simulation. This demo lets you play 30 turns in 30 days, playable in single and multiplayer, now with updated the ships models, cleaned up the remainder of the bugs, and improved render speed.

Earlier Team17 mentioned it was working on downloadable content for the Xbox Live Arcade edition of its turn-based strategy game, Worms. Next Wednesday at 09:00 GMT, it will release the Space Landscape for free, while the Hell and Jungle landscapes will each set you back 150 Microsoft Points. A free SoundBank Pack 1, foreign language voices, and a few classic voiceovers will be made available.
