Last week there was some controversy by adding Halo 2 to the Xbox 360 list, but this week it is clear, Gears of War reigns supreme and dethroned Bungie's sequel. Even if the Xbox 360 list and the original Xbox list were combined, then Gears of War would be the top Xbox Live title.

It seems that Blizzard isn't the only one who drops the ban hammer, as Valve's new Anti-Cheat technology caught a few people cheating in Counter-Strike: Source and other games this week – over 10,000. VAC detects anyone using cheat software and permanently bans his or her Steam account. Valve expects to see a surge of forum posts laying blame squarely at the feet of "my little brother."

Using a stunning new 3D engine, Singles are totally interactive, with highly unique detailed expressions and can be dressed in a whole range of freaky or fancy outfits. Deep Silver has released a v1.4 beta patch for all versions of the game, although there are no details as to what it fixes (thanks Blues).

Ubisoft announced that GT Pro Series, Monster 4X4: World Circuit, Rayman Raving Rabbids and Red Steel will be available on North American store shelves on Wii's launch day, Nov. 19. Splinter Cell Double Agent will ship Nov. 28, followed by Open Season on Nov. 30 and Far Cry Vengeance in Dec.
