Empire has released the first patch for BugBear's recently released racing game FlatOut 2. This v1.2 patch is for the US edition only, bringing it on par with the earlier released European version, and adds voice chat, improves multiplayer, updates gfx and fixes a bunch of crashes and bugs.

Nival Sells Off MMO Portion of the Company

Nival Interactive announced that it has sold its MMO spin-off Nival Online to an undisclosed party. Nival Interactive said the decision to spin-off its online initiative fits with the company’s strategy to focus on expanding into the global PC and console markets. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
