The World Series of Video Games announced it has signed deals with major broadcast, cable and satellite networks CBS, CSTV and VOOM HD Networks’ GAMEPLAY HD to air extensive coverage of its 2006 season, bringing professional video game competitions to major U.S. network television for the first time.

Playlogic and Eidos Interactive announced the signing of an agreement for Eidos to distribute two of Playlogic's highly anticipated PC titles, RTS Ancient Wars: Sparta, and 3rd action game Infernal, in the first quarter of 2007.

Although we have yet to see any assets, or an official announcement for that matter, it is no secret EA is working on yet another sequel in the Burnout series. While Burnout 5 is slated for the PS3 and Xbox 360, a new EBGames product listing indicates that Criterion is also working on a PSP and PS2 edition, under the name of Burnout Dominator. All versions of the new destructive racing game are tentatively scheduled for March 2007, no further details available.
