THQ today announced Evil Dead Regeneration for the Xbox, PS2, and PC. The game explores a "what if..." continuation from Evil Dead 2, one of the most unhinged films from famed director Sam Raimi. Voiced by Bruce Campbell, players will control Ash, the reluctant hero of the series, as they're thrown into a masquerade of evil events, equipped with the latest in prosthetic fashion.

Activision today announced that the company has signed an agreement with SOE to publish Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade for PSP in all territories excluding U.S., Canada and Japan, as well as those areas serviced by SCEA. Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade is the only multiplayer action role-playing game currently available for the PSP.

One hundred years have passed since the evil Sorcerer Zarok was defeated at the Battle of Gallowmere, heroically cut down by a mortally wounded Sir Daniel Fortesque. Or at least, that's what the people were told; in fact poor Sir Dan was a bit of a coward, falling in the very first wave of arrows. Now Zarok has returned, turning day into night, and raising an undead army to conquer the land. As a side effect Dan has also been resurrected... now, he has the chance to defeat Zarok and in death become the hero he never was in life.

Digital Jesters, founded by ex-CDV members in 2003, announced that it has reached an agreement with Take-Two to distribute PC games in North America. The games that are part of the agreement will be the first titles Digital Jesters has published in the U.S. Since Digital Jesters is self-publishing Bet on Soldier in North America, we can assume it will be part of the agreement.

Fox News is reporting that Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola is not happy with Paramount and EA regarding the upcoming video game based on his Mafia trilogy. In an interview that will air coming Sunday 11 AM EDT on AMC's 'Sunday Morning ShootOut, Coppola says "I had absolutely nothing to do with the game and I disapprove, I think it's a misuse of film." Coppola does not like the way the characters are being portrayed and the game ends up being nothing but a shootout. To top it all off Coppola claims he never gave, nor was asked, permission to make a video game out of the movie(

A sad day for the DOOM 3 fans in Germany as publisher Activision did not manage to receive a rating for its game, and therefore cannot sell the newest expansion 'Resurrection of Evil' in German retail stores. Co-developed by Nerve Software and id Software, DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil continues the terrifying and intense action of the already classic DOOM 3.

Bowser's raising ghosts to join his evil cause. When he uses these ghosts to take over Yoshi Island, Yoshi sets off to defeat the malicious spirits and run Bowser off.
