BioWare today announced the launch of the BioWare Online Store, an
internet-based marketplace. The store will offer premium Neverwinter Nights game content. The modules will be developed by BioWare staff, as well as by prominent members of the Neverwinter Nights fan community, and will be produced by BioWare and Atari, utilizing the Dungeons & Dragons property under license from Hasbro and its subsidiary, Wizards of the Coast.

Today Activision released its quarterly financial statement and apart from doing quite well (sales & revenue are up, WAY up), driven by strong sales from Doom 3, Spider-Man 2, Rome: Total War, Tony Hawk 2, X-Men Legends, Call Of Duty etc. In the following investors conference call Activision revealed that the eagerly awaited Xbox edition of Doom 3, as well as the fresly announced expandion pack for the PC, are expected in the first quarter of 2005 which means between January, March 2005.

Lionhead Studios announced today that its plans for Xbox title BC have been suspended. Lionhea's Peter Molyneux said : “The decision to suspend work on any games project is always a very difficult one, particularly when it is a title with the potential of BC.
