Gears of War 2 picks up six months after the events of the original, thrusting players back into humankind's epic battle for survival against a nightmarish force of underground creatures known as the Locust Horde. Epic revealed that it is working on a Snowblind Map Pack (due March 31st), featuring 4 new maps, as well as new title update (due March 24th) which will fix various bugs and add a new ranking system.

Yesterday EA Sports had its 2009 Season Opener Media Day where it presented a slew of its upcoming titles such as Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10, EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis, EA Sports Active, Fight Night Round 4 and more. Vin Diesel revealed that his game development company Tigon Studios is working on "dream game," an MMO called Barca B.C. At a press conference earlier this week the actor mentioned that while the game has already been in development for two or three years, it "could probably take another four years before we see the game." Barca B.C. is an MMO where you create an avatar that lives in the reality of Hannibal Barca, the Punic Wars and life 200 B.C.

Traveller's Tales animator Charlotte Parker revealed through her online CV that the Warner Bros.-owned developer is working on LEGO Harry Potter and the LEGO Indiana Jones 2 sequel. Both titles have been rumored before, but not yet officially announced. At first, Parker confirmed the statement, but then later removed the listing.

With the imminent launch of Resident Evil 5 Capcom's Associate Product Marketing Manager Matt Dahlgren recently said that "Wii fans will be very happy very soon."
