Free Realms is a free whimsical fantasy massively multiplayer RPG from Sony Online offering lighthearted adventuring, aimed primarily at casual female gamers, and optional bonus content via micro transactions. SOE and WildStorm have teamed up with fantasy author J.S. Lewis to adapt Free Realms into a 12-issue comic book series.

Earlier this year, EA agreed to a deal extension with Crytek to publish Crysis 2. It's not exactly a surprise, but Crytek confirmed that Crysis 2 won't see the light of day until 2010.
