Strategy First has released an update patch for their recently released Disciples II expansion packs. This patch will fix the problem some people are having completing the second map of the high-level Clans campaign, corrects a few text errors and adds an explanation for the new high-level icons that appear on unit portraits in the Manual Addendum (PDF). BluesNews that a post on
Raven Shield Platoon describes a problem they've found with the newly released v1.3 patch for Raven Shield, as well as the workaround that will at least allow you to get out without rebooting should it happen to you. Here's the deal: The 1.3 patch has an error that causes servers to crash on the "deploying countdown". The crash has you (and everyone else in the server) sitting in the game staring at the countdown stuck on 1. This happens at random times. The only way to exit is to open console and type in either disconnect or quit.

Xbox Flashpoint will be using an upgraded engine using some elements from the Flashpoint 2 engine. Graphical elements like vehicle and character models and vegetation have been vastly improved upon and look much smoother and realistic. Eve Of Destruction will contain not only new skins, vehicles and new objects, it features 8 complete new custom maps. Each map is different in their own way (from realistic to fun maps) and partially adapted to the Indochina Vietnam Conflict. Infantry Combat in EoD is more realistic and more action than in Battlefield and similar to more infantry-based games like Raven Shield or Counterstrike.
