The update brings your retail game to v1.03 and brings several game tweaks such as "Russian blunt-nose APBC ammo is reduced in effectiveness versus homogenous armor (e.g. Tiger, late StuG III) but increased versus face-hardened armor (some Pz IV, early/mid StuG III)." This upgrade brings your retail game to v1.01 and improves the multiplayer GameSpy user interface. This manual patch is only necessary if you are having trouble autopatching the game. Activision has announced that id Software's RtCW: Operation Resurrection for the PlayStation2 is now available at retail outlets nationwide. The epic World War II adventure fuses heart-stopping action and frightening gameplay with the pursuit to topple the Third Reich's fiendish army of elite soldiers, zombies and genetically engineered super-soldiers. Developed by Raster Productions, RtCW: Operation Resurrection carries a suggested retail price of $49.99 and is rated "M" for mature by the ESRB.

CDV announces that "Combat Mission Beyond Overlord: Special Edition" for the PC is available in retail stores.
