EA announced the winner of the 2007 EA SPORTS Craftsman Nascar Challenge, Brandon Coppinger. After five rounds of virtual racing at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, Coppinger beat out his competitors and won the $10,000 Grand Prize and bragging rights as the #1 NASCAR 08 video game player in the country.

Crytek has barely released one of the most anticipated FPSes of the year, Crysis, and it is already talking about sequels. In a recent IRC chat
logged by inCrysis, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli revealed that there are two more installments in the franchises due to be released, with the third title to have a deliberate ending.
German GameStar has some additional info from Crytek's Steven Bender, claiming that Crysis 2 will have numerous textural improvements (especially facial textures) and 3D animations, with near photo-realistic movie quality.

While there is no official announcement yet, Namco Bandai has confirmed earlier rumors that Tri-Crescendo is developing a Wii-exclusive, post-apocalyptic RPG, Fragile. Currently scheduled for a 2008 release in Japan, Fragile tells the story of a young boy, Seto, searching for a mysterious girl in a ghost town. The Wiimote will be used as a flashlight, as well as metal detector.

Back in early October, Nintendo's upcoming titles release schedule revealed a previously unannounced NDS version of Assassin's Creed, tentatively scheduled for February 2008. While there are still no details available, UbiSoft has released a box cover to confirm the title and pinned down the release date to Feb. 12, 2008, in North America and Feb. 15 in Europe.

Set several years after the original, The Temptation is an add-on that will put a greater emphasis on the Elves, a race that played only a marginal role in Two Worlds. The expansion will feature all-new regions to explore, new enemies (giant spiders, flying demons, etc.), improved AI and NPC behavior, reworked Drak'ar and Oswaroh environments, the ability to actively repel hits with your shield and much more. Originally planned for the Xbox, but eventually canceled, Success is bringing its trilogy of Raiden Fighters shoot- 'em-up games to the Xbox 360. Raiden Fighters, its sequel and Raiden Fighters Jet will come bundled with a DVD featuring footage of the best Japanese players in action. It's currently only scheduled for release in Japan in 2008.
