The anime style characters and backgrounds from previous Atelier titles remain, but they have been upgraded with a stunning cell-shaded animation style. The basic game play carries over the tradition of the series, using alchemy as the main focal point, where players can craft new items and also battle enemies using the power of alchemy.

It's a good thing we don't mind working in the middle of the night because with this heat, it's about the only comfortable time of the day. Luckily, the weatherman is anticipating things will cool down by end of the week.
Lots of games coming out this week, and there probably won't be any slowdown for the next month or two as we gear up for the holidays. It's a good time of the year to be a gamer, although it's killer on the budget. I'm currently installing Dead Rising 2, Darksiders, Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light, as well as Chaos Rising, a somewhat older Dawn of War 2 expansion.

Wow, sweltering hot indeed. We've had one of the coldest summers on record, but our fall started off scorching hot. It was bearable until shortly in the afternoon, but then the sun started beating down on the office. We're surrounded by an army of computers, so there's not much that can be done to keep things cool — aside from drink a lot of ice-cold beer. :)
Last night, we watched NCIS (hate the Los Angeles spin-off) and Bones, but with a multitiude of shows recording as we were watching, we fell even further behind. We're going to have to step it up!
