MTV Games and The Beatles license holder Apple Corps are developing a new video game that will be an experiential progression through and celebration of the music and artistry of The Beatles spanning the UK band's entire discography. While the previously announced bundles are priced at $250, there is now also a Special Value Edition with non-branded instruments at Wal-Mart for $159, and at Best Buy and Amazon for $139.99.

Set 50 years after the climactic events of the original Red Faction, this third-person, open-world action-shooter will return to Mars and once again redefine the limits of destruction-based gameplay. The second Red Faction: Guerrilla DLC, Multiplayer Pack, will add eight new maps and two new modes.

Planet 51, based on the upcoming animated film, is an adventure comedy from the writer of Shrek/Shrek 2, revolving around American astronaut Captain Charles "Chuck" Baker who lands on Planet 51 thinking he's the first person to step foot there.

When Microsoft shut down Shadowrun studio FASA, founder Jordan Weisman bought back the rights to various FASA franchises, such as MechWarrior, Shadowrun, Crimson Skies, and formed Smith & Tinker. Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles‘s story is based on Resident Evil 2 and includes Leon S Kenney and Claire Redfield. In Aliens vs. Predator, players will have the chance to take the role of the three infamous species: the Colonial Marine, the Predator and the Alien. SEGA president Mike Hayes revealed that AvP's release date will affect Colonial Marine's launch, as the company does not want the two Aliens titles too close to each other, preferably nine to 12 months apart, although commercial success of AvP could further influence that in either direction. Hayes also states that, despite the cancellation of Obsidian's Aliens RPG, a 3rd game in the franchise is planned but nothing concrete has been decided yet.

In PixelJunk Shooter, players pilot a subterranean exploration vehicle to explore the interior of diverse cave-like complexes. The player must affect the surrounding and dynamic terrain to progress. The goal is to safely navigate through each vivid stage and rescue survivors scattered about the cavernous environment.
