THQ Inc. and Sega Corporation today announced a co-publishing agreement through which the companies will release two new Nintendo Game Boy Advance adventures based on one of the biggest videogame icons of all time, Sonic the Hedgehog. The games are scheduled to ship in North, Central and South America in the first half of 2004. The companies previously released two other Sonic-branded games for the Game Boy Advance that boast combined sales of approximately a million units.

THQ Inc. today announced that it has entered into an exclusive multi-title Nintendo Game Boy Advance co-publishing agreement with SEGA Europe Ltd. THQ will co-publish three titles based on the popular Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, including Sonic Pinball Party, Sonic Battle, and Sonic Advance 3, as well as Shining Soul II and Shining Force, across Europe, Australia and other international territories beginning with Sonic Pinball Party in winter 2003.

Sega of America today announced that its recently launched "Sonic Adventure 2 Battle" for the Nintendo GameCube was the #1 selling game for the system in its first week of sales according to independent retail data from NPD TRSTS (week ending 2/16/02).
