Founded in 2006 by ex-EA, Novalogic, Climax, and Looking Glass Studios execs, Delirious Games' unannounced multiplatform title has been revealed to us as Band of Brothers: Pacific. The 3rd person action with unique gameplay mechanics, structure and goals is currently scheduled for later this year and will focus on creating an emotional impact between the player and the game. Whether Band of Brothers: Pacific has anything to do with the Steven Spielberg/Tom Hanks HBO mini-series was not revealed.

Last week we reported that Square Enix and Eidos had reached a preliminary agreement for the Japanese developer/publisher to acquire Eidos. The question was how Warner Bros., which already owns 20% of Eidos, would react. As it turns out WBIE is not going to counter offer, but has instead issued a statement saying it is "supportive," and will vote in favor of the takeover.
