Over the weekend (August 27-30), both Star Assault and Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts are 50% off, while Mini Ninjas is expected on Sept. 11. With pre-orders you can earn bonus Blue Coins, which in turn can be used to purchase other titles. If you pre-order a game and the price drops within 30 days, you get the difference back in Blue Coins.

Battlefield Heroes is a Play 4 Free cartoon-style shooter that will bring classic Battlefield gameplay to a mass audience, featuring a built-in matchmaking system to ensure that players of equal skill are paired together for fair play. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is the ultimate Ninja Gaiden, featuring characters from the previous installments that have defined the franchise. Combining both melee and long-range battles against enemies, the game requires skillful and strategic playing to successfully journey through the missions.

So the visit to the Asian Art Museum to see the Samurai exhibit was actually quite cool: lots of armor, swords and lore to read up on. Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyou, loosely translated as Okami Legend: The Small Sun,  follows the same art style as the PS2 and Wii titles, and while it plays off in similar environments it is an all-new adventure set several months after the conclusion of the original where you follow a new, younger character. Obviously, gameplay is similar to the previous Okami titles with the DS stylus being used to draw your magical symbols.

Ron Gilbert's RPG-Adventure game follows the thong-tastic adventures of a misguided hero named DeathSpank, a character that first appeared on Gilbert's Grumpy Gamer website in a series of animated comics he penned with long-time creative collaborator, Clayton Kauzlaric.
