interview with Game Informer magazine, Castlevania series creator Koji Igarashi revealed he is working on a new 2D installment for the NDS. The next console iteration might be Xbox 360 exclusive however, saying "I think the Xbox 360 would be the best platform for the U.S. market. The U.S. market is the biggest market for the Castlevania series, so I will give the first priority to the U.S. market."

Microsoft is taking a precautionary measure and voluntarily providing customers with a free retrofit to the Xbox 360 Wireless Wheel, due to a very small number of incidents of a malfunction, where a component in the Wheel chassis may in rare cases overheat and release smoke when the AC-DC power supply is used to energize the Wheel.
