Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will make its downloadable debut on the XBLA and PSN by utilizing the original game code, while creating a fresh upgraded experience with new artwork and high resolution 1080p graphics. Capcom has been working on a patch for the currently running SSFII HD Remix beta test, and revealed that the Street Fighter II HD Remix Beta has been extended to Sept. 5th, to gather more feedback afterwards.

Resistance 2 will feature 8-player, story-driven online co-op separate from the regular single-player campaign, 60-player online PvP (Heavy, Special Ops, Medic classes) and more vehicles, including The Chameleon, a Stalker with full cloak. SCEA revealed that the August issue of its downloadable video magazine Qore ($2.99) will include a beta invitation, while Insomniac confirmed pre-ordering the game will get you the earliest access.

THQ's Saints Row 2 offers vastly expanded customization options, a totally transformed and expanded city of Stilwater, new vehicles, sandbox tools and toys as well as both online co-op and competitive multiplayer. Adult film star Tera Patrick has started work on Saints Row 2 as a "special producer," bringing her one-of-a-kind touch to the project. Tera will also be making a special appearance at THQ's Comic Con booth this Saturday, where she'll meet with fans and sign exclusive Saints Row 2 art.

After Microsoft decided to
mysteriously pull Bungie's Halo announcement from E3, the now
indie studio has
confirmed it's working on new Halo 3 multiplayer content, as well as "three distinct projects, some familiar, some not." Fans hoping for a big announcement at PAX can relax; Bungie said only the Halo 3 content will be shown, since the other titles are too still far off.
