David Hayter, known as voice actor for Solid Snake but also Watchmen co-writer, has formed Dark Hero Studios. Hayter has teamed with Bratz/Doomsday producer Benedict Carver to form "a company that will generate film, TV, Internet and video game projects in the action, sci-fi and horror genres," according to
Variety. Dark Hero Studios' first project will be a movie called Demonology, about a student attending an international high school in Belgium.

With a complete graphical and engine overhaul, Championship Manager 09 allows users to lead their teams to glory in a completely new version designed to give managers a true feeling of ‘total control’ over their teams and clubs. In order to give the game extra polishing time, Eidos has pushed CM 2009 from its original April 2009 date to its fiscal Q4, meaning at the earliest in June.

Back in 2001 EA signed the right to make games based on The Lord of the Rings movies, which was initially set to expire in 2007, but
extended an extra year to give Pandemic enough time to finish their LotR: Conquests title. With no intentions to renew the contract, the licensing expired rights have reverted back to Warner Brothers according to
Variety, speculating that it will handle development of future titles on its own.

Using a new technology called the Pollux Engine, Square Enix has created a true cross-platform game as it will be identical on both NDS and Wii. Use the stylus to control your character on the NDS while the Wiimote will mimic the same actions on the Wii.
