Shortly after its release PS3 owners who updated their console started complaining about their PS3 freezing/locking up. Without explanation the firmware is no longer available.

The latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Jump has got the Chrono Trigger fans all excited showing off a screenshot of the old 2D game, listing it as coming to the NDS, scheduled for release in Japan this coming winter. Speculations are further fueled by a teaser page on Square Enix's website showing off the series' iconic clock image accompanied by an NDS logo. Chrono Trigger made its debut on the SNES mid 90's, with a PSOne port in 1999, and a year later the Chrono Cross sequel.
