Showing their appreciation and support to those serving in the military, Activision is partnering with the United Service Organizations (USO) to bring entertainment to the troops this holiday season. Last year Ubisoft announced it was developing a third-person action game based on the Heroes TV series, focusing on the entire cast, and not re-tell or bridge the gap between the two seasons, but instead offer its own insight. The game hasn't really been heard of since and today Ubisoft revealed that it is no longer making a Heroes game, thus the project has been canceled and the rights have been reverted back to series owner NBC.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is an all-new title in the FF franchise, although it's not part of the compilation of Final Fantasy VIII or the Ivalice Alliance. Not a standard RPG, it's labeled a dramatic progressive action title, and Tetsuya Nomura, known for Kingdom Hearts, has signed on to be the game's character designer.
