An original game based on the popular Japanese GAME CENTER CX TV series, Retro Game Challenge reinvents how classic games are played. Featuring a story-driven progression, players complete short challenges in a wide-variety of fictional retro-games, ranging from shooting, racing, action and even an epic RPG.

300 movie director Zack Snyder, currently working on Watchmen, has signed an agreement with EA to develop three original games with EA’s Los Angeles studio in Playa Vista. While the IPs will be owned by EA, Snyder’s Cruel & Unusual Films will have the option to produce film adaptations based on those properties.

Warhammer: Battle March includes the original content from Warhammer: Mark of Chaos as well as all-new features, intuitive control schemes and support for online play via the Xbox Live. While declared gold earlier this week, Microsoft revealed that the retail version of the game will not have online co-op included, but that a few days after launch a patch will be released to enabled it.

In Underwater Wars you and your squad are members of US Navy elite division. Your mission, to protect freedom and to provide peace and the law and order on all planet. The game is set approximately 5 years from now, and develops over the course of an additional 2 years.

Valkyria Chronicles is set in a fictitious continent reminiscent of 1930s Europe - divided in two and ruled by the Empire and the Federation. The game follows a hero named Welkin and his fellow soldiers of the Federation’s 7th Platoon as they engage in a series of epic battles. SEGA will release a demo coming to the Oct. 9 issue of SCEA's online magazine QORE, which costs $2.99/episode.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is an all-new title in the FF franchise, although it's not part of the compilation of Final Fantasy VIII or the Ivalice Alliance. Not a standard RPG, it's labeled a dramatic progressive action title, and Tetsuya Nomura, known for Kingdom Hearts, has signed on to be the game's character designer.
