Set 500 years after the original game, Fable 2 will offer even more choices and features, while building on the core gameplay theme of Fable where every choice continually defines who you become, allowing you to truly live the life you choose. In a recent interview Peter Molyneux revealed that Lionhead has "got plans for Fable 3, 4, and 5. It's a big story arc, and you can see, if you play Fable 2, you can recognize things from Fable 1, so that's pretty exciting."

Nintendo filed suit in the Tokyo District Court against several companies that sell DS flash cart units (R4 Revolution / CycloDS Evolution), which allow homebrew material but are also used to load pirated games. According to Japanese news service Nikkei Net, Nintendo did not fly solo, as it was joined by 54 other companies such as Capcom, JNH Co., Sega. SNK and Square Enix.
