EA revealed that the X360/PS3 bundle is scheduled for Nov. 23, and will cost $169, while PS2 gamers will have to wait until Dec. 3, but can then rock out for $159.99. For people who do not want the entire set, game and instruments will be made available separately.

Harmonix, MTV Games, and rock icons Metallica announced a deal that will see key tracks from the thrashers' catalog available as digitally-distributed game levels for Rock Band, with "Enter Sandman" shipping with the game this holiday season. How can a game be both so much more than its predecessors, and yet so much less at the same time? This conundrum defined what I saw of the upcoming Rock Band release, The Beatles: Rock Band. The game floored me as a Beatles release, but its heritage as a Rock Band game seems a bit tenuous.
