THQ announced that Volition, Inc.’s Red Faction franchise will make its open-world, next-gen debut with Red Faction: Guerrilla. During its briefing at GDC Wizards of the Coast revealed that it plans to bring new iterations of its Magic: The Gathering collectible card franchise to Xbox Live and PC. While no specific details were provided one of the titles is currently under development at Stainless Games, the UK studio known for Carmageddon, while a second title is being prepped over at Mind Control Software, known for SOE's PSP strategy title Field Commander.

A job offering for a program manager on Microsoft's US careers website is fueling speculations that a new Xbox Live might be in the works, "We're building the games, the console interface and logic, and the server support for a totally new Live experience.
