SEGA's Universe at War: Earth Assault, developed by Petroglyph, is a combat-intensive RTS game enlisting players in an epic struggle to prevent total alien domination of planet Earth. This demo includes a tutorial and the first two missions of the Hierarchy campaign.

SouthPeak Games announced a new twist on the racing genre in the form of Iridium Runners, placing gamers into a futuristic world where they are literally running for their lives.

Hudson Entertainment announced that it is bringing Dungeon Explorer: Warriors of Ancient Arts to North America. Each version of the game will feature a unique story with epic battles, an all new assortment of weapons and many unique fighting styles. In No More Heroes, developed by Grasshopper, you play the role of Travis Touchdown, a hardcore anime fan who takes it upon himself to murder the top assassin's in the world, using the Wiimote to wield Travis' beam sword and kill off enemies in gruesome ways.

Vivendi confirmed that Terminal Reality is developing the title for PC, PS3 and X360 aimed primarily at the core gamer demographic, while Red Fly Studios is working on a more casual version for PS2, Wii and NDS. All four members of the movie team (Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis) will lend their voices and likenesses to the game, which is set in the '90s after Ghostbusters II and currently scheduled for release in fall '08.

Earlier this year, Slovanian developer Zootfly leaked images and early clips of what looked to be a new game in the Ghostbusters franchise. Shortly thereafter, actor Dan Aykroyd confirmed that "a" Ghostbusters game was planned, but nothing has been heard of since. The latest GameInformer issue has Ghostbusters on the front cover, and while not giving any specifics, confirms that a title is indeed in the works for PS2/Wii/PS3/X360 and PC, with Aykroyd and Ramis writing the script and lending their voices and likenesses.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is Nintendo's latest incarnation in the popular Super Smash Bros. series of titles, featuring all-new characters ranging from Kirby and Wario to Samus and even Metal Gear Solid's Snake.
