The game is based on Revolution Studio’s “XXX”, which stars Vin Diesel and opens nationwide on August 9. XXX lets players assume the role of underground thrillseeker turned spy Xander Cage in a series of death-defying motorcycle and arcade-action challenges. XXX is currently available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $35.99 and is rated “E” (Everyone – violence) by the ESRB.

Paradox Entertainment and Pan Vision announce that they have entered a multiple-title publishing agreement for three of Paradox's upcoming titles for Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. The first game will be released in the third quarter. The titles in the deal are Legion, Crusader Kings and Hearts of Iron. Pan Vision published several of Paradox's previous games, among them Europa Universalis and Europa Universalis II. Paradox games have done extremely well in the nordic market, and have a firmly established customer base.

Activision, Inc. confirmed today that Treyarch is in development on a Minority Report game for the PlayStation2 , the Xbox and Nintendo GameCube. Inspired by Steven Spielberg’s upcoming feature film, “Minority Report,” a 20th Century Fox and Dreamworks co-production starring Tom Cruise slated for release on June 21, the Minority Report video game puts players in the role of a PreCrime Police Officer wrongfully accused of murder. Throughout the 3rd person action/adventure game, players will explore many of the locations from the film, as well as make use of advanced weapons and gadgets straight out of the movie in an attempt to clear their name. Minority Report the game will be released in the winter of 2002 and has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
