A little while ago Microsoft sent a community mod team a cease and desist order for their Halo based Halogen mod for C&C without much clarification. Microsoft Game Studios announced its project based on the Marvel universe of Super Heroes. Microsoft and Marvel Entertainment confirmed that Cryptic Studios has been named the developer of its Xbox 360 and PC exclusive MMO Marvel Universe Online.

For the first time in more than 10 years, SEGA has signed an agreement, with New Line Cinema, to develop games based on the upcoming Dark Materials movie trilogy. New Line is currently shooting first entry The Golden Compass, both products are currently scheduled for November 2007.

After two years of development Climax's Warhammer Online was cancelled after which Games Workshop granted its license to Mythic Entertainment. Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is an MMO game for PC and console set in the fantasy world of Warhammer.

Dreamers is an action/adventure game, powered by the Reality Engine, in which you play Jorge, a 20 year old young man suffering from a bizarre form of narcolepsy. Plagued by sudden and uncontrollable attacks of deep sleep, usually lasting 5-10 minutes, Jorge goes out to find what is causing his medical mystery by confronting his dreams, nightmares, his lifelong fears and his ill-fated past.

Real Fighting Championship is an 3D online fighting game for the PC, in development at Cykan Entertainment. RFC promises realistic graphics, championships with multiple modes, and give you an experience that rivals any console fighting game. As you progress you will be able to strenghten your character to become winner of the RFC.

Empire has released the first patch for BugBear's recently released racing game FlatOut 2. This v1.2 patch is for all European editions, including Germany, not US, and adds voice chat, improves multiplayer, updates gfx and fixes a bunch of crashes and bugs.

Last year Sony announced that they were working on an emulator for the PSP, allowing owners of its handheld to play all PSOne titles without a problem. Scheduled for November, Sony has now released a beta version of its PSX-P emulator, which works for firmware v1.0 through 2.71, although from v2.5 up, you will need to use eLoader. The developers are not quite satisfied with the framerate, but future updates should remedy that. Once the official/final PSX-P is released you will need a PC with wifi or a PS3 in order to use it.

In Company of Heroes gamers will experience the journey of the brave men of Able Company in a deep single-player campaign that begins with the invasion of Normandy through their fight across Europe, all set against the most dynamic, and completely destructible, battlefield ever seen in a game.
