No need to get your panties in a bunch just yet. SEGA Japan announced that its PS2/PC adventure needs a little more "quality improvement," and has therefor decided to push the February 16 release date to March 30, 2006. Whether this will have any influence on the European or North American release date is unknown, but since PSU is slated for spring 2006 in those territories anyhow, it seems unlikely.

Battlegoat has released a new patch for its strategy game Supreme Ruler 2010. This update brings your retail game to v4.4.2 and addresses two new bugs which surfaced after the previous patch. Training now works again, and in Multiplayer startup lobbies, the clients would not get set to the correct map if the host changed the scenario choice after clients joined the lobby.

Day of Defeat is a World War II multiplayer first-person action game that pits players in Axis vs. Allies battles in Western Europe at the height of the war in 1944, remade using Half-Life 2's Source engine. Players enlist as snipers, infantrymen, machine gunners, riflemen and sergeants, and then hit the frontlines running using authentic weaponry.

Ubisoft has released new downloadable content for the Xbox and PC editions of its stealth action game Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Two new coop maps available on Xbox Live (UN Headquarters and Nuclear Base), and one new versus map available on Xbox Live and PC (Polar Base). 2K Games has contracted with Even Balance, Inc. to integrate PunkBuster Anti-Cheat software into the highly anticipated PREY, currently being developed by Human Head Studios and executive produced by 3D Realms. VU Games today announced that it has completed the purchase of independent developer, High Moon Studios. VU Games will retain High Moon's team of more than 100 development professionals, as well as rights to the studio's intellectual properties.
