Gameindustry.biz seem to indicate a change in formula is in order to make it suitable. "Their whole goal is to encourage people to go and buy games on the shelf, then there's an online component for it," he explained. "But for us, when you buy it on the shelf, that's just the beginning of our relationship with you - and we want a direct connection with our customer so that we're always giving you new content, always supporting you directly. Xbox Live just wasn't really built, from a business standpoint, to support that."

In an
interview with EuroGamer Criterion's Alex Ward commented on recent speculations that BLACK might be making an appearance on the Xbox 360. "I keep reading all over forums that we're going to make a 360 version of BLACK, and it's just not true." Alex denied the reason that BLACK doesn't work on the X360 as a sign EA simply holding out for a possible port, but he went on to say that the sequel will be on the nextgen console somewhere in the future.

the official Rainbow Six website has a clock counting down to 12 days from now, on which Ubisoft promises a major announcement. UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) received three complaints from viewers about
misleading TV ads regarding Activision's Call of Duty 2 and CoD2: Big Red One and has them taken off the air. The complaints were made due to pre-rendered material, made exclusively for the TV ads, that do not represent the end user quality of the product. While Activision claims such practices are standard procedure, ASA does not agree and regulations do require ad material to be accurate representations of the product.
