Bungie has updated the
jobs section on its website revealing that it is currently looking for several people to fill jobs geared towards PC applications. Bungie is currently looking for Graphics, Audio, Network and Game Programmers, all PC related. Knowledge of DirectX9, Xbox SDK, and compatibility issues are required, and it further states "Want to work on the biggest franchises for Microsoft Game Studios?" Ok, it's a little bit far fetched, but who knows.

Xboxic received word that Microsoft is diligently working on a patch to fix various issues with the Xbox 360. "An inside source at Microsoft informed us that Microsoft is currently finishing off one huge update for the Xbox 360 that is going to put an end to all the common problems in both games and the system itself. It will contain fixes for all currently known lockups in games, missing or impossible to get achievements and a bunch of new functionality in the Dashboard." A Call of Duty 2 X360 patch is also expected to be released next week.

Microsoft today announced a new launch date in Australia and New Zealand for the Xbox 360. The new launch date is 12:01am on March 23 2006. The delay is caused by short-term manufacturing issues due to component shortages stemming from challenges in ramping supply and will ensure that the markets will have an adequate supply of Xbox 360 consoles to meet demand at launch.

Los Angeles city attorney's office has sued the makers of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for allegedly hiding pornographic material inside the video game, officials said. Rocky Delgadillo said his office sued Rockstar Games and its parent company Take-Two for making misleading statements in marketing the game and engaging in unfair competition.
