NCsoft announced today that the City of Villains servers have gone live, and is now available in shops in a special Collectors Edition, packed with extra goodies, as well as the standard retail package. players will be able to take on villainous personas, customizing villain costumes and building bases for their super-powered groups.

Grandia III is the newest title in Game Arts' role-playing series, coming to the PS2. Grandia III will use an all-new engine, N3, allowing for larger and more detailed environments. Already released in Japan, the ESRB just approved Grandnia III for its North American release, giving it a T (Teen) rating, although no specific release date has been given. In Grandia III you play as Yuuki, a 16-year-old boy who dreams of being a pilot. When Yuuki meets Alfina, an elven shaman who cna talk to holy beasts, he gets involved in a mission to find her brother Emilious, turned evil and wants to conquering the world.

Prince of Persia The Two Thrones takes the best features from The Sands of Time and Warrior Within, and combines them with new gameplay elements such as a second playable character, an intuitive Speed Kill system, outdoor Babylon environment, chariot combat and more.

Valve lastest Steam Update has a few details on what to expect next now that it has released The Lost Coast map for Half-Life 2. Valve has been working on two new maps for CS:S, updated versions of de_nuke and cs_militia, along with a number of new player models for both sides. Its Zombie Movie has won Best Comedy Horror Short down at Screamfest L.A., so expect it over Steam soon, and its commentary system included in Lost Coast received positive responses so Valve is looking for ways to include it in future products.

NCsoft North America announces the release of Issue 6: Along Came a Spider, the latest expansion to City of Heroes, offering exciting new content, graphics and technology upgrades. Back at E3 2005 Sony showed the first glimpses of a new title in the Syphon Filter franchise, but did not disclose any details, up until today. Syphon Filter : Dark Mirror is scheduled to be released in North America spring 2006 and will not only see the return of Gabe Logan, but also Theresa, Lipan et Lian Xing. The PSP version will allow you to give commands to the rest of your team a la SOCOM, and a multiplayer wi-fi mode is also par of the new features. BBC News revealed that British Member of Parliament Keith Vaz is going after Roickstar's upcoming title Bully claiming that the game will inspire violence among schoolchildren. Vaz has approached the House of Commons stating his concern about Rockstar's decision to publish a new game in which players use their on-screen persona to kick and punch other schoolchildren, asking that the game should be treated like a violent film, and should go before the British Board of Film Classification or be banned completely. A Rockstar rep told the BBC that just as books aren't judged by their covers, video games shouldn't be judged by their titles or individual scenes. To Be Continued ...
